Katherine has brought to life what we so love about the Scottish coast: the tension of sky and sea, mist and melancholy with light and drama. We absolutely love it! We needed a big piece for a big empty space and this perfectly fills it. We get comments on it all the time.
I first saw this at an open studios event, and found that it played on my mind for months afterwards, it's so intriguing! The movement of the water, land and light is so incredibly atmospheric, and the focus from the red spot is inspired. The frame was also beautiful and very high quality. I love Katherine's work, do visit and exhibition or open studio if you can, and if you're thinking of buying a piece, I'm sure you won't regret it!
I have a print of 'Moonrise and Song'; the paper is thick, and the colours and print quality are high. It's a beautiful addition to my bedroom!
I am absolutely delighted with the beautiful and atmospheric painting, "Evening Walk" which has been a wonderful addition to the paintings in our sitting room. The painting is soft and restful and evokes happy memories of evenings in North Norfolk enjoying the soft colours of the marshes, beach and sea. Katherine is a gifted painter and her style works with a varied art collection.
