This is one of a series of five original paintings that were inspired by the light, large skies and distances of North Norfolk and coastal Suffolk. As the horizon varies with the light and the way it plays across the sandy marshes and dunes, it invokes a spaciousness and timelessness of this place.

“Do I need to be "good" at art to enjoy your tutorials ?” No! This is aimed at beginners, though would be of interest to artists who like Katherine's painting style and atmosphere. The emphasis in these tutorials is on process over perfection — anyone can create something meaningful, regardless of skill level.
"Will this take too much time or preparation?” You're busy and don’t have hours or lots of art supplies? I get it! I am absolutely delighted with the beautiful and atmospheric painting, "Evening Walk" which has been a wonderful addition to the paintings in our sitting room. The painting is soft and restful and evokes happy memories of evenings in North Norfolk enjoying the soft colours of the marshes, beach and sea. Katherine is a gifted painter and her style works with a varied art collection.
